The first report for the 1st new moon of the year came from the region of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia on Saturday evening, April 6th followed by Brisbane , Melbourne & Perth, Australia and points westward. There has been a lone report from Israel-based observers this same evening, but there were no known secondary reports made for confirmation. Many will follow the rules of two witnesses making tomorrow, April 7th, the start of the month for them, by default.
